Kelly Martin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel and product development industries. Kelly started their career in 1986 as an Operations Manager at Maritz Travel Company and then moved on to work at American Express, where they managed a team of corporate travel consultants. In 1996, they joined GetThere as a Senior Manager, where they developed and launched a comprehensive scorecard and improved the quality of releases. In 2004, they became a Senior Product Manager at Deem, where they expanded the company and developed a loyalty points redemption program. Kelly later worked at John Paul as a Director of Product Management, leading a team in creating architecture for concierge services and rolling out applications in multiple continents. Kelly then joined Infogain as a Senior Systems Analyst, serving as a contractor for American Express before becoming a full-time employee. In 2017, they returned to American Express as a Product Owner, leading the development of a new travel and lifestyle product. In 2017, they also joined Deem, Inc. as a Director of Product Development, where they innovated new travel products using AI applications. Finally, in 2018, they became the Director of Products at American Express.
Kelly Martin obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from the College of Communications, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Kelly also holds a SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., which was obtained in 2019.
