Milad Geravand

Milad Geravand has experience working in various roles and companies within the field of robotics and automation systems. Milad is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Deep Care GmbH since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager for Automated Operation at Bosch Engineering GmbH starting from March 2021. Milad also served as a Manager for product development projects in mobile robotics at Bosch Engineering GmbH since October 2017. Milad worked as a Senior Scientist at Fraunhofer IPA from April 2017 to October 2017, where they also held the position of Project Leader in Robotics and Automation Systems from July 2015 to October 2017. Before joining Fraunhofer IPA, Milad worked as a Research Associate in Assistive Robotics at the Institute of Automatic Control Engineering (LSR), Technical University of Munich (TUM) from January 2013 to April 2015. Milad began their career as a Research Assistant in Human-Robot Interaction at DIAG Robotics Lab from January 2012 to November 2012.

Milad Geravand completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering-Control at Sahand University of Technology from 2005 to 2009. Milad then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Sapienza Università di Roma, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Finally, Milad undertook their Doctor of Engineering (Doktor der Ingenieurwissenschaften, Dr.-Ing.) degree in Assistive Robotics - Automatic Control Engineering at Technical University of Munich, from 2013 to 2017.
