Dimitrios Konstantakos

Dimitrios Konstantakos is an accomplished civil engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in deep excavation design and education. As the CEO and founder of Deep Excavation LLC since 2004, Dimitrios has developed the DeepEX software. In addition to this role, Dimitrios serves as an adjunct professor at the Civil & Urban Engineering Department at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, focusing on Excavation Support Systems. As CEO and founder of ARducate LLC, Dimitrios aims to enhance education through augmented reality. Previous leadership roles include a tenure as chair of the ASCE/G-I Technical Coordination Council and the Earth Retaining Structures Committee. Dimitrios’ early career includes significant projects during time at Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers and research at MIT. Educational qualifications include an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
