Rob Denroche is a highly experienced bioinformatician with a strong background in cancer genomics and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatician at Deep Genomics since September 2021, Rob previously held senior bioinformatician roles at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where significant contributions included developing clinical reports for whole-genome sequencing and supporting the Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Signature Stratification for Treatment trial. With expertise in designing in silico experiments, managing large genomic datasets, and implementing pipelines for variant analysis, Rob has also trained junior staff and collaborated extensively with researchers. Earlier experience includes bioinformatics internships and roles focused on software development and testing. Rob holds an MSc in Computing and a BComp in Biomedical Computing from Queen's University, complemented by continuing education at the University of Toronto.
