Lucas Bennett

Lucas Bennett is a research engineer at Deep Render. Prior to that, they worked as a data scientist at Workden, where they developed the data pipeline, worked closely with the founders to guide the strategic vision of the business, and developed dashboards and monthly reports. Lucas was also a senior analyst at Analysis Group, where they used machine learning and statistics to solve problems in economic and healthcare consulting. As a Co-founder of Paperology, an innovative education startup, they virtually connected students with tutors and managed multiple distributed teams while optimizing operations. Lucas also worked as a legislative assistant intern for the Government of Canada, where they conducted research to brief Members of Parliament on legislation, committee proceedings, and policy-making. As the Founder of Next Level Learning Consulting, they refined and optimized a teaching program and achieved an average 25% year-on-year student grade improvement in over seven subjects. Additionally, they worked as a summer sales and customer service representative at Midland T&C Company and as a barista at Starbucks.

Lucas Bennett received their Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Economics, as well as their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto between 2015 to 2019. In 2021 and 2022, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from McGill University.
