Katherine Collett is an Associate in the Climate team at Deep Science Ventures, focusing on identifying, building, and supporting startups to address climate change since July 2023. Prior to this, Katherine served as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in Energy System Transitions and Postdoctoral Researcher in Engineering at the University of Oxford, contributing to the Vehicle to Grid Oxford (V2Go) project and working on integrating renewable energy. Additional roles include being an Oxford Martin Fellow at the Oxford Martin School and leading The Final 25% Series at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, which addresses hard-to-abate emissions sectors. Katherine also participated as an Ideas to Impact Fellow at Saïd Business School, was the MCR President at Trinity College Oxford, and interned at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. Katherine holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Durham University.
