Dave Hartley

Dave Hartley is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in management and technical roles. Currently serving as a part-time Company Director at Deep Sea Electronics Plc since November 2016, Dave previously held the position of Operations Director after retiring from the role of Technical Director. During a long tenure at Deep Sea Electronics from 2001 to 2016, Dave led the Design Engineering group responsible for a range of Controller products. Prior to this, Dave spent 15 years at Slingsby Engineering Ltd/Perry Slingsby Systems Ltd as a Technical Manager, overseeing the design of underwater equipment, including submersibles and ROVs, and held earlier roles as a Junior and Senior Engineer at Vickers Slingsby, focusing on the development of submersibles for the North Sea oilfields. Dave holds a BSc Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
