J. Joseph Tyler

J. Joseph Tyler serves as the President and CEO of The Tyler Group LLC, a consulting firm focused on environmental services, design, and construction management since July 2014. In addition, Tyler is a Principal at Deep Water Point, providing insights into government bidding processes, and serves as a Senior Advisor at Dawson & Associates. Previously, Tyler was the Senior Vice President and Director of Strategic Initiatives at Versar from March 2010 to June 2014, and held the position of Deputy Director and Director of Military Programs at the US Army Corps of Engineers from September 2006 to December 2009, retiring as a Senior Executive Service (SES) after 40 years of service. Tyler holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
