Joan B. Golden

Joan B. Golden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and consulting, currently serving as Principal at Deep Water Point since 2012 and as a Consultant at JBG Consulting, LLC since January 2008. Previously, Joan held the position of Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Forest Service from November 1998 to May 2008, leading a team of 650 federal employees and managing a budget exceeding $250 million across various areas including enterprise architecture and information security. Prior experience includes serving as Human Resource Systems Director at USDA from November 1992 to October 1998, where leadership was provided in the development of innovative systems servicing over 450,000 employees. Joan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Duke University, earned between 1970 and 1974.
