Rick Goddard

Rick Goddard has extensive work experience in the fields of product management, mechanical engineering, surface ships, and naval architecture. Rick currently holds the position of Product Director at Deep, where they have been since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Mechanical Engineering Lead at the same company from April 2022 to September 2022. Before joining Deep, Rick worked at Steller Systems Ltd. for almost a decade, starting in 2012. During their time at Steller Systems, they held various roles including Chief Engineer - Surface Ships, Principal Naval Architect, and Senior Naval Architect. Rick's career began at the UK Ministry of Defence in 2007 as a Naval Architect, where they worked for five years before joining Steller Systems.

Rick Goddard has a strong educational background in engineering and naval architecture. From 2003 to 2007, they attended The University of Manchester and earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace Engineering. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued further studies at University College London, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Naval Architecture.
