Luciano Perezzini

Digital Transformation Lead at DeepAgro

Luciano Perezzini has a wealth of experience in software engineering, digital transformation, and natural language processing. Luciano is currently a Digital Transformation Lead and Software Architect at DeepAgro, a role they have held since 2021. In this role, they are responsible for identifying new opportunities for developing new marketable, or internal, digital state-of-the-art services from concept to implementation. Luciano also directs and supervises Data Engineering and Cloud Computing teams, and leads DeepAgro Explorer.

Prior to their current role, Perezzini was a Software Engineer at Poincenot Technology Studio from 2019-2021, where they collaborated with the launch of a RegTech SaaS named Trak.e. Luciano designed and implemented microservices in an event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.

From 2018-2019, Perezzini was a Natural Language Processing R&D at CONICET, where they designed and implemented LegalTech decision support systems for an artificial classification of documents into main legal branches. Luciano also presented a MVP to investors and authored and presented scientific research papers.

Prior to this, Perezzini was the CEO and Co-founder of Promm from 2014-2018. Promm was a start-up developed by computer science students during college, and was an entrant in the Endeavor Argentina "Business Plan Competition". As head of product and management, Perezzini supervised a team of three computer science students.

Luciano Perezzini has a diverse educational background. Luciano holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Rosario (2010-2019), an Executive degree in Leadership and Team Management from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2022), and a Technician degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Colegio Salesiano San José, Rosario (2009). In addition, they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Luciano also has several certifications, including Compiler Design: Theory & Practice (Universidad Nacional de Rosario, 2018), Digital Image Processing (Universidad Nacional de Rosario, 2017), Information Retrieval (Universidad Nacional de Rosario, 2016), Entrepreneurship (Universidad Nacional de Rosario, 2016), Business Plan Competition Entrant (Endeavor Argentina, 2014), iOS App Development (Fundacion Libertad, 2012), Test of English for International Communication (ETS, 2010), Examination for the Certificate of Competency in English (University of Michigan, 2009), and Examination for the Certificate of Elementary Competency in English (Binational Centers in Argentina, 2005).
