Desmond Caulley

Desmond Caulley is a Research Scientist at Deepgram since August 2022, with prior experience as Principal Audio/Speech Researcher at TQIntelligence, Inc. from August 2021 to August 2022, where Desmond implemented a speech emotion recognition system and developed model deployment systems. Desmond co-founded Convync Inc. in May 2020, aimed at maximizing virtual presence, and held internships at Sonos, Pindrop, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, focusing on speech/audio research and audio-visual diarization. Desmond's academic background includes a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Cornell University.
