Gonçalo Gaiolas

Gonçalo Gaiolas is an experienced product leader currently serving as Chief Product Officer at DeepL since September 2025. Gaiolas also contributes to the growth of Product That Count as a CPO Advisory Board Member, providing strategic insights, and advises on product and technology strategy for Lobster. In addition, Gaiolas assists portfolio companies at Shilling VC and previously held the role of Chief Product and Technology Officer at SoSafe until June 2025. Gaiolas spent over a decade at OutSystems, where responsibilities included defining and deploying product strategy, leading product management, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Gaiolas holds several educational qualifications, including a Licenciatura in Information Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico and executive education from INSEAD and Nova School of Business and Economics.
