Nikolaos Mourdoukoutas

Nikolaos Mourdoukoutas is a Machine Learning Research Engineer at DeepLab, focusing on multidisciplinary projects that integrate AI technologies in bioinformatics, chemoinformatics, and healthcare. As a machine learning researcher, Nikolaos contributes to the EU-funded Horizon project Multilab, which aims to develop affordable Point of Care diagnostics to differentiate between viral and bacterial causes of fever. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Scientist at D ONE, where Nikolaos maintained big-data and machine-learning pipelines and developed a legal assistant application utilizing LLMs and NLP techniques. Additionally, Nikolaos worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at DataHow AG, concentrating on code migration to high-performance languages and deep learning applications in drug production. Nikolaos holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
