Maryam Torshizi

Maryam Torshizi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maryam is the Founder of DeepSearch Labs, a company they established in 2020. Additionally, in 2021, they joined NVIDIA as part of the NVIDIA Inception Program. Prior to these roles, Maryam worked as an Entrepreneur at Antler in 2020. Maryam also served as a Quantitative Research Consultant at QuantCon from 2019 to 2020. In 2018, Maryam worked on a research project at King's College London and served as a Quantitative Research Analyst and assistant portfolio manager at Newton Investment Management. Maryam also conducted a small project at Imperial College London in 2017 related to quantum resistance in Bitcoin. Before that, Maryam worked as an Analyst at New Street Research from 2015 to 2017. Maryam is the Founder of Uniqy: Art on apparel, a company they established in 2012. Additionally, they held the position of Woman and Graduate Officer at Oxford University Student Union from 2012 to 2014.

Maryam Torshizi attended Sutton High school, although the start and end years are unknown. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at King's College London from 2006 to 2010. Maryam obtained their MEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering during this period. Following their undergraduate studies, Maryam pursued further education at the University of Oxford from 2010 to 2013. Maryam worked as a DPhil Researcher in the field of Engineering Science.
