Adil Elitas

Adil Elitas has worked as a Security Operations Center Analyst at DeepSeas since October 2022. In this role, they are responsible for monitoring networks for security alerts, analyzing them using advanced tools, and responding to security incidents. Adil also analyzes files, emails, and network traffic for signs of compromise, evaluates potential threats, and creates detailed reports for clients. Adil collaborates with the team to fine-tune security measures and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Prior to DeepSeas, Adil worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton from March 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they continuously monitored network infrastructure and endpoints for alerts generated by various security tools and conducted thorough investigations of security incidents. Adil also executed incident response procedures, performed technical log analysis, and developed comprehensive technical conclusions based on available evidence.

Before that, Adil served as a SOC Analyst at CyberNow Labs from September 2020 to February 2021. Adil'sresponsibilities included monitoring and analyzing SIEM alerts, conducting security investigations, triaging and examining endpoints, and analyzing files, domains, and emails using open-source intelligence.

Adil Elitas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from Marmara University, where they studied from 2004 to 2010. Adil further pursued higher education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from North American University (NAU) from 2021 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Adil has also obtained several certifications. Adil received the Splunk Certificate of Completion from Splunk in October 2019, the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification from GIAC Certifications in July 2022, and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in October 2019.
