Piotr Gródek

Piotr Gródek has worked in the software engineering and data science fields for the past decade. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a C++ Software Engineer for Nokia Siemens Networks. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Luxoft, where they developed and maintained a part of a credit risk system. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer/Researcher for Tooploox, where they focused on computer vision and worked on monocular SLAM research and development. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Research and Development Computer Vision Engineer for Aeolus Robotics, Inc. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer for LifeFlow, where they improved a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic platform, and as a Computer Vision/C++ Consultant for From Poland With Dev. Piotr is currently a Lead Data Scientist for deepsense.ai, where their responsibilities include being a project manager, mentoring and coaching team members, and performing scrum master roles.

Piotr Gródek obtained an Inżynier degree in Informatyka from the University of Wroclaw between 2010 and 2014. Piotr has also obtained several certifications, including Foundations of Healthcare Systems Engineering from Coursera in October 2021, Managing Teams from University of Michigan and Coursera in October 2021, Biomedical Visualisation from Coursera in September 2021, Managing Talent from University of Michigan and Coursera in September 2021, Foundations of Project Management from Coursera and Google in August 2021, Inspiring and Motivating Individuals from University of Michigan and Coursera in August 2021, Artificial Intelligence from Udacity in September 2017, Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation from Udacity in July 2017, and a Certificate of Achievement - Microsoft IT Academy Programme from Microsoft Corporation in July 2010.
