Raj Bhattacharjea has held a variety of roles in the engineering and research fields. From 2020 to present, they have been a Principal Engineer at DeepSig Inc. From 2014 to present, they have been a Senior Research Engineer, Research Engineer II, and Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. From 2014 to 2010, they were a Research Faculty at the United States Naval Academy where they conducted novel radio frequency propagation experiments in the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM bands, analyzed datasets from experiments, and developed a first-of-its-kind radio propagation model based on solving the electromagnetics wave equations in multilayered media representing the near-surface atmosphere.
Raj Bhattacharjea began their education in 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. Raj then continued their studies at the same institution, obtaining a MSECE in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2010. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014.
