Nicholas Mario Wardhana has worked in various roles in the software and technology industry since 2013. Nicholas Mario began their career as a Project Officer at Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) where they designed game architectures and implemented games using the Unity game engine. In 2016, they became a Research Associate at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where they were primarily responsible for the software development of Topologic and had duties including designing the multi-layered software architecture, library implementation in C++, C++/CLI, and C#, as well as repository management. In 2019, they moved to Artineering as a Senior Developer. In 2020, they joined Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) as a Postdoctoral Scholar. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at DeepX, Inc. as a CG Engineer, and was later promoted to CG Section Head, where they acted as a scrum master within the section's scrum activities and refined project requirements into section's software releases and activities.

Nicholas Mario Wardhana obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) between 2003 and 2007. Nicholas Mario then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2008 to 2016. Additionally, they hold a JLPT N4 certification from the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
