Jack Walker is currently a Systems Simulation Engineer at Williams Racing since October 2025. Previously, Jack held the position of Powertrain Technology Modelling and Testing Methodologies Engineer at Alpine from August 2023 to November 2025. Jack's academic background includes significant research at Loughborough University, where a PhD was pursued alongside a role as a Senior Research Associate from September 2019 to May 2023, focusing on AI applications in tribology and multi-scale tribo-dynamic modelling. Prior work experience includes positions as a Project Manager Graduate Engineer and Calibration Graduate Engineer at Ricardo, as well as an Industrial Placement Student at MAHLE and a Customer Service Assistant at Marks and Spencer. Jack earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, following A-Levels and GCSEs at the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe.
