Stacea A. McKeever has a diverse work experience starting from 1987. Stacea A. began their career as a server and sales associate at J.W. Filmore's Restaurant and Pirate's Cove Pet Store. Stacea A. then worked as a server and sales associate at Sterling Jewelers, James Tavern, and Mitchell's Fish Market while completing their undergraduate degree. From 1997 to 2003, they served as a client/customer account manager and service representative at Sallie Mae, Fidelity Investments, and Schmidt Marble. During this time, they gained valuable experience and motivation to pursue a career in education.

In 2005, Stacea transitioned into the field of education as a science, careers, and social skills teacher at Arlington Heights Academy. Stacea A. worked there until 2012, when they became the site coordinator of 21st Century After-School Enrichment at Reeths-Puffer High School. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a GED and high school completion instructor at Orchard View Adult Education. Following that, they took on the role of McKinney-Vento/Foster Liaison at Michigan Virtual Charter, an online charter school, from 2016 to 2018.

Currently, Stacea A. McKeever is working at Deer Park School District as the alternative school director/teacher, responsible for online curriculum delivery. Stacea A. started this role in August 2019 and is currently holding the position. Throughout their various roles and experiences, they have developed a strong understanding of education and the importance of teamwork.

Stacea A. McKeever began their education journey in 1995 at the University of Cincinnati, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics. Stacea A. successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1999. Later in 2003, they enrolled at Xavier University to acquire a Master's degree (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education. Following their passion for education, Stacea completed their Master's degree in 2006. Lastly, in 2011, they joined Grand Canyon University to pursue a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership. Stacea A. is currently All But Dissertation (ABD) and is expected to complete their doctorate soon.
