Stephen Anastos

Stephen Anastos serves as Managing Director at Deerfield Management since January 2020, focusing on investments in high-growth healthcare technology and services. Previously, Anastos led the MassHealth ACO Program at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services from January 2018 to January 2020, where the initiative transitioned nearly a million Medicaid members into value-based contracts. Anastos also held the position of Principal at Bain Capital Ventures from January 2014 to January 2018, engaging in venture capital and growth equity investments. Anastos began a career in healthcare as an Associate at Blueprint Health LLC from January 2013 to January 2014 and started at Altman Vilandrie & Company as a Senior Analyst from January 2011 to January 2013. Anastos holds an AB in History and Economics from Harvard University, obtained in 2011.
