Ashton Schwerr, MA, CCC-SLP, has been serving as a Speech Language Pathologist at Deerfield Public Schools District 109 since August 2019, providing evaluation and treatment for 6th to 8th graders with various speech and language deficits while collaborating with educational professionals and families. Prior experience includes internships at Eskenazi Health and Winnetka Public Schools-District 36, where Ashton evaluated and treated adults and children with communication disorders. Additional clinical experience encompasses graduate clinician roles at Monroe County Community School Corporation, Indiana University's Aphasia Support Group, and the Speech and Language Preschool, focusing on children with diverse needs. Ashton holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the same institution, complemented by a strong foundation in education from Carmel High School.
