Arthur de Kimpe

Arthur De Kimpe has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Arthur worked at Deezer from 2017 to present, where they started as a Data Engineer and eventually became the Head of Engineering - Data Operations. In this role, Arthur manages a department of 10+ people, aligns and delivers roadmaps, collaborates with other heads of departments, and leads the adoption of the Customer Data Platform. Arthur has also played a significant role in cloud migration and team restructuring.

Before their time at Deezer, Arthur worked at Bull as an Apprentice Software Engineer, Apprentice DevOps Evangelist, Apprentice DevOps Engineer, and Apprentice Machine Learning Engineer. Here, they gained experience in designing pipelines, evangelizing DevOps practices, and developing services and applications for cloud providers.

Arthur also had an internship at ITT Dublin as an iOS Developer Intern, where they designed and developed mobile applications to support entry-level students.

Arthur De Kimpe completed their education at various institutions. From 2012 to 2014, they obtained a two-year University diploma (DUT Informatique) in Computer Science from IUT de Blagnac. Arthur then attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble from 2014 to 2017, where they earned an Engineer diploma / Master degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2016, they also completed a Master degree exchange program at Aalto University, specializing in Computer Science. Additionally, in May 2016, Arthur obtained certification in TOEIC with a score of 985/990 from the TOEIC® Program.
