Hans-Holger Albrecht

In February 2015 Dr. Hans-Holger Albrecht became the Global Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of Directors at Deezer. In June 2021, Dr. Hans-Holger Albrecht transitioned out of his Chief Executive role.

Prior to Deezer, Dr. Albrecht was at Millicom where he was President and CEO of the telecom and media group, offering digital services to over 50 million customers in Africa and Latin America. Before that he was President and CEO of Modern Times Group, one of Europe’s larger media groups with TV, Radio, Publishing, Production and New Media assets and 1500 employees in over 20 countries. He was also President and CEO of Viasat Broadcasting in Stockholm and worked for RTL Group in Luxembourg.

He has a Doctorate from the University of Bochum in Germany and a Master of Law from the University of Freiburg.
