Halim Rice is an accomplished music industry professional with extensive experience in A&R and artist management. Currently serving as Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Recordings since August 2020, Rice previously held the position of General Manager at Cinematic Music Group from January 2015 to January 2023 and worked in A&R administration and scouting at Epic Records from April 2013 to August 2014. Rice's career began at G-Unit Records, where serving as Executive/Personal Assistant and Road Manager to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson from January 2002 to January 2011 involved comprehensive administrative support and the coordination of tours and promotional events. With a strong background in talent scouting, industry trends, and artist development, Rice is recognized for expertise in identifying commercially viable talent and building relationships across the music business landscape.
