Darren Winfield

Darren Winfield has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Darren started their career at NatWest in 2008 as a Private Banking Financial Advisor, where they managed a team of relationship managers and provided wealth planning, retirement solutions, protection, and IHT planning for HNW clients. In 2014, they joined HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management as a Premier Relationship Manager, advising HNW client portfolios on IHT, wealth planning, protection, retirement, and mortgage. Since 2015, Darren has been working at Defaqto, initially as a Research Manager of the Wealth and Protection Department, where they managed a team of researchers and ensured data accuracy and timeliness for various financial products. Currently, they hold the position of Insight Consultant at Defaqto(Wealth), focusing on providing insights regarding wealth-related topics.

Darren Winfield attended Park High Stanmore from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a high school degree. Darren then enrolled in Stanmore 6th Form College from 1982 to 1984, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Diploma in Leadership and Management from ILM in August 2020. Prior to that, they received a Step Certification from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners in November 2013. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Mortgage Advice Qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute, obtained in September 2002, as well as a Dip PFS from the same institution, acquired in September 2000.
