Alex Gilbert

Alexander Gilbert is a seasoned graphics engineer with extensive experience in both graphics programming and software integration. Currently serving as the Lead Graphics Engineer at DEFCON AI since January 2023, Alexander previously held positions at notable companies such as Dassault Systèmes and HERE Technologies, contributing as an Integration Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, respectively. Alexander's earlier roles included graphics engineering at Level Ex, Inc., Sony, and Incredible Technologies, where responsibilities involved rendering code maintenance and graphics support for various platforms. Additionally, Alexander has experience in education as a co-author and co-narrator for a Pluralsight course on combat systems and has provided peer tutoring in mathematics during time at The College of Lake County. Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Chicago and an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from the College of Lake County.
