Scarlett Pares Landells is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as the Director of Communications & Promotion at Defected Records since January 2016. Starting as an intern, Scarlett has progressed through various roles, including PR & Promotions Manager, overseeing press and radio strategies for multiple affiliated labels and enhancing the editorial tone across Defected’s online channels. Previous roles include managing press relations for international media outlets and contributing content as a writer for several music-related platforms. Scarlett’s educational background includes a NCTJ Diploma in Journalism from Brighton Journalist Works and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology & Anthropology from The University of Manchester.
