Derrick Cheung

Derrick Cheung is the current President & CEO at Defence Construction Canada. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Real Estate at TransLink from January 2010 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for commercial strategy and partnerships, supply chain management, real estate, and environmental remediation programs. Derrick has also held positions as Director of Supply Chain Management at Seaspan ULC from January 2004 to December 2010, e-Procurement & e-Supply Programs at Air Canada from January 2001 to December 2001, and Supply Chain Management & Business Transformation at TransAlta Corporation from January 2001 to December 2004. Derrick began their career in information services and technology with Canadian Airlines in January 1998.

Derrick Cheung has a Chartered Director (C. Dir) from DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University and a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard University. Derrick also has a certification from The Logistics Institute in P.Log - Professional Logistician and a certification from Real Estate Institute of British Columbia in RI(BC).
