Stephen Gale

Stephen Gale currently serves as the Assistant Director of Risk and Governance at Defence Housing Australia since August 2023. Previously, Stephen held the role of Manager - Risk Advisory at Deloitte from November 2021 to August 2023 and was an Assistant Director at the Australian Electoral Commission from July 2010 to November 2021, where responsibilities included governance reviews, risk management advisory, and training facilitation. Stephen's experience also encompasses teaching English in South Korea and project management roles in various government departments, along with contributions to policy development. An education background includes a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Edith Cowan University and partial completion of a Graduate Diploma in Environmental and Resource Economics at The Australian National University. Notably, Stephen co-authored the publication "Risk Management in Elections - A Guide for Electoral Management Bodies" in July 2021.
