Leng Huei Tan

Leng Huei Tan is an experienced leader in data analytics and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of the Enterprise Data Analytics Platform at DSTA since January 2021, where responsibilities include transforming MINDEF's data engineering and analytics framework for data-driven decision making. Previously, as Deputy Director of KM Practices & Policies at the Singapore Armed Forces from January 2017 to December 2020, Leng Huei Tan led initiatives to enhance employee collaboration and drive digital education. An earlier tenure at DSTA from June 2001 to December 2016 involved various roles, including Programme Manager, Project Manager, Senior Technical Architect, and Software Engineer, where Leng Huei Tan successfully delivered multiple projects related to procurement and digital platforms. Education includes a Master's degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and ongoing studies toward a Master of Information and Data Science degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
