Mariane Lai

Mariane is a SOC Team Lead at Defend Edge. Mariane is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Journalism. After a career change, she obtained her CompTIA ITF+ in 2020 and Security+ in 2021. Mariane started her career in Cybersecurity in 2021 as an IT Support Specialist for Defend Edge, then transitioned to the SOC Department in August 2021 as a Level II Analyst. During this time, Mariane has grown her interest and skill as a Cybersecurity analyst alongside talented and incredibly knowledgeable SOC Analysts of Defend Edge. She looks forward to continuing to learn in the ever-evolving field of Cybersecurity. She strives to extend her knowledge while supplying quality customer service and top-tier security.
