Rob Simopoulos

Rob Simopoulos began his career in 1998 as a graduate of Toronto Ontario’s Sheridan College, with a degree in Security System Implementation and Design.

In 2004, Rob co-founded a startup Sonitrol dealership outside of Toronto, Canada which he grew rapidly to a leading national organization and earning national recognition. He successfully exited the company in 2009.

Late 2009, Rob entered the United States and joined Advance Technology (Scarborough, ME) as Vice President of Sales. He later became President, leading an organizational realignment, streamlining operations and introducing a unique recurring revenue model ultimately garnering various national industry awards and accolades.

In 2016, Rob saw the opportunity shifting from electronic and physical security toward cybersecurity. He transitioned from Advance Technology in 2017 and started Defendify with Co-Founder Andrew Rinaldi.
