Shannon Gonzalez

Shannon Gonzalez, CPCM has over two decades of experience in contract management and procurement. Shannon'scareer began in 1999 as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for the Coliseum Health System. Shannon then transitioned to the United States Department of Defense in 2002, where they held various roles, including Lead Contracting Officer and Chief of Contracting. In 2017, Shannon joined the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as a Supervisory Contracting Specialist/Team Lead, and later became a Contracts Director. Furthermore, they also served as an Instructor at Middle Georgia State University, teaching Government Contracting classes to graduating seniors.

Shannon Gonzalez, CPCM has an Associate's degree in Psychology from Middle Georgia State University (1994-1997), a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Georgia Southern University (1997-1999), a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Georgia College & State University (1999-2002). Additionally, they completed the USAF Air Command and Staff College (DL) in 2007 and the USAF Air War College (Distance Learning) from 2017 to 2022. Shannon Gonzalez obtained their Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification from the National Contract Management Association in December 2017. Shannon also holds APDP certifications in Program Management (Level I) in 2010 and Contracting (Level III) in 2008 from the Defense Acquisition University.
