Anwar Johnson

Anwar Johnson, MBA, currently serves as the Strategic Business Development Branch Chief at the Defense Logistics Agency since October 2022. Prior experience includes positions at Air Education and Training Command as the Executive Officer for the Headquarters AETC Directorate of Plans, Programs and Requirements and Deputy Branch Chief for Requirements Development, where Anwar directed a substantial services acquisition portfolio exceeding $141 million. At the National Reconnaissance Office, Anwar held the role of Advanced Communication Deputy Division Chief, focusing on cloud technology migration and service cost negotiations. Anwar's early career in the United States Air Force encompassed various leadership roles, culminating as the Mission Processing Services Program Manager. Anwar also contributed to the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School as the Intercollegiate Program Manager and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Anwar obtained a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy.
