Jose Acevedo

Jose Acevedo is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in contract management, project oversight, and environmental and transportation services. Currently serving as a Sales Contracting Officer at the Defense Logistics Agency since October 2017, Jose focuses on the development and oversight of usable property sales contracts. Previous experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist and Transportation Specialist at Meritage Homes, and an Assistant Construction Manager. Jose also held the position of Major Accounts Manager at Insight Promotions, where responsibilities included strategic planning and account management for major corporate accounts. Additional experience includes project management at Packaging Advantage and serving as a Terminal Air Controller with the Illinois Air Guard. Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
