Sara Moore

Sara Moore is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic communications and public affairs. Currently serving as Division Chief for Strategic Communications at the Defense Logistics Agency since November 2009, Sara has also held roles as Branch Chief, Communications Specialist, and Public Affairs Specialist within the same organization. In January 2024, Sara transitioned to the role of Content Director at Riot of Colors. Previous experience includes work as a Reporter/Editor at the American Forces Press Service from June 2005 to July 2008. Sara holds a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with a certificate in Military Photojournalism from Syracuse University.
