Shawn Taylor

Shawn Taylor has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn started their career as an Auditor/Financial Analyst at Soza and Company in 1998 and worked there until 2004. Shawn then joined KPMG as a Senior Analyst from 2004 to 2005. After that, they worked at ER Williams as a Project Manager from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Marine Corps Systems Command as a Senior Financial Analyst until 2016. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Defense Information System Agency as a Senior Budget Analyst. In 2020, they joined NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Senior Resources Analyst until 2021. Then, they moved to Defense Health Agency and worked as a Senior Budget Analyst until 2023. Currently, they are working as the Chief Budget Formulation at Defense Media Activity since 2023.

Shawn Taylor pursued their education at Christopher Newport University between 1993 and 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Shawn then attended Strayer University from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degrees, Shawn Taylor obtained the certification of Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) from the American Society of Military Comptrollers in June 2012.
