Gordon Banks

Gordon Banks is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Program Manager for the Engineering Support - C-WMD Advanced Research Division at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Banks has previously held roles as a Test & Evaluation Engineer and Test & Evaluation Specialist at DEFTEC Corporation, where contributions included supporting the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization in developing solutions to combat improvised threats. From June 2005 to March 2018, Banks worked at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head EOD Technology Division, where responsibilities included managing machine shops, leading engineering teams in test and evaluation of EOD hardware, and acting as test director for various projects. Banks holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
