Deputy Chief, Program Integration For The CTR Program at Defense Threat Reduction Agency

Jo Balsamo Wood has extensive experience in program integration and project management within the defense sector, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Program Integration for the CTR Program at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since September 1984. Balsamo Wood's career includes significant roles such as Program Manager detailed to the Department of Homeland Security's Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, and participation in the David O. "Doc" Cooke Fellowship Program through the Defense Leadership and Management Program while a Graduate Fellow at George Washington University. Prior to joining the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Balsamo Wood worked at the Naval Supply Systems Command and held editorial positions at the Department of Army and Civil Aeronautics Board. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, a Master of International Policy and Practices from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of Dayton.
