Andrew Roth

Andrew Roth has a diverse work experience in software engineering, cloud/infrastructure engineering, and DevSecOps consulting. Andrew currently works as a Unicorn Software Engineer at Defense Unicorns, where they are involved in software engineering and product support for various projects. Andrew also serves as a Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer and Kubernetes consultant for Project Blue. In addition, they are an Open Source Maintainer for the Zarf Project. Prior to their current roles, Andrew worked at SAIC as a Principal Software Engineer, where they played a key role in architecting SAIC's open source GitHub organization and developing SAIC's Innovation Factory Stack (IFS). Andrew was responsible for providing Kubernetes consulting, DevSecOps consulting, and cloud engineering services for SAIC's software development teams. Andrew also worked as a Software Engineer at CSRA Inc, where they supported the development of the Battlefield Air Operations (BAO) software suite for the Air Force Special Operations Command. Additionally, Andrew has experience as a Full Stack Web Developer and Owner/Software Engineer at their own company, Andrew Roth Solution Development, where they primarily focused on web development and M-Files ECM custom development. Andrew also worked at ProTechnology as a Developer, Director of Product Development, and Document Automation Developer. At Staples, they served as a Team Supervisor, gaining valuable experience in management and customer service.

Andrew Roth earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from Walla Walla University. Andrew completed their degree between 2007 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained several certifications, including Scaled Agile DevOps Accredited Facilitator and Practitioner from Scaled Agile DevOps, DevOps Foundation from the DevOps Institute, DoD IAT Level 2 (GSEC) and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, and M-Files IT Administrator Certification from M-Files Corporation. The completion months and years are provided for most certifications, except for the M-Files IT Administrator Certification.
