Brandt Keller has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Brandt served as a Communications Technician in the United States Marine Corps from 2010 to 2018, responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and wide band communications gear. Brandt also organized equipment and ordered parts for repairs. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Communications Chief for Blackfoot Company, where they planned communications for company-wide operations, established maintenance cycles, and was recognized for their expertise in Afghanistan. Following their military service, Brandt joined Buchanan Automation in 2016 as an Assembly Technician, specializing in the assembly and diagnostics of industrial automation equipment. Brandt then worked at StrataGen Systems as a Junior Software Engineer and Software QA Intern in 2018-2019. Brandt joined Boeing in 2019 and served as a Software Engineer until 2021, when they transitioned to the role of Platform Architect. Brandt is currently employed at Defense Unicorns as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Brandt Keller's education history begins with high school at Snohomish High School from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a High School Diploma. Brandt then pursued further education in the field of Computer Science and Software Engineering. From 2015 to 2016, they attended Cascadia College, although the degree obtained is not specified. Later, from 2017 to 2018, Brandt attended the University of Washington Bothell, where they achieved a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Additionally, Brandt Keller has obtained various certifications, such as the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in December 2021 and the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator in March 2022. Other certifications include the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer in February 2021 and the Fundamentals for Kyverno from Nirmata in March 2022, among others. Brandt has also been involved in events and committees, such as being a speaker at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2022 and joining the Program Committee for CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2023, both organized by The Linux Foundation. Moreover, Brandt received the 2022-23 Volunteer Badge from Microsoft in April 2023.
