Lance Adams

Lance Adams has worked in the field of cyber security since 2021, when they began their role as a Cyber Security Analyst at DefenseStorm. Prior to this, they were the Owner of The Buzz Above Aerial Services, a business providing low-elevation aerial services to real estate agencies and golf courses in the Panama City area, from 2014. From 2005 to 2014, Adams was the Owner of HelmetAudio.com. Before this, they served in the US Coast Guard from 2002 to 2005, where they co-developed and maintained software used by IT help desk technicians throughout the US Coast Guard. This software automated the process of adding a new user, cutting the time to about 20 minutes instead of 2 hours, plus also increased productivity by automating many other user related tasks.

Lance Adams is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they started in 2019 and expects to complete in 2022. Lance has also obtained certifications from CompTIA (Security+ in November 2021) and the University of North Carolina Wilmington (DHS/NSA Cyber Defense Education Curriculum Certification in May 2022). Lance also holds a Telecommunications Installer II Technician certification from Chipola College.
