Mutian Zhang

Mutian Zhang, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Advanced Analytics & Insights Manager at Definitive Healthcare since August 2025. Prior to this role, Mutian was a Consultant at Trinity Life Sciences from October 2023 to August 2025 and an Associate Consultant at IQVIA from August 2021 to August 2023. In addition to consulting experience, Mutian held the position of Vice President of External Relations at the Consulting Club at the Texas Medical Center from December 2019 to January 2021, leading the virtually conducted Greater Houston Case Competition with significant participation. Mutian also demonstrated leadership as President and Vice President of the Graduate Student Organization at Texas A&M University, where activities included organizing the Annual Graduate Research Symposium and hosting student engagement initiatives. Mutian earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Texas A&M University and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Shandong University.
