Dan Fortin Icd.d

Dan Fortin, ICD.D, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in risk management and governance. Currently serving as the Risk Committee Chair and Board Member at Definity Financial since October 2014, Dan has also held significant roles at IBM Canada, including President until retirement. Additional leadership includes positions as Chair of the Board of Directors at Foresters Financial and Evok Innovations, and a past Chair of the Board of Governors at Carleton University. Dan has a strong educational background, with a certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and an Honorary Doctorate from Carleton University, along with an Institute of Corporate Directors Designation from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
