Daniel McGonigle is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental science and policy, currently serving as the Head of International Research for Development at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since May 2019. McGonigle oversees critical overseas research programs focused on biodiversity and climate and previously held positions within Defra that involved leading teams on topics such as sustainable agriculture, water management, and environmental policy.
