Deborah Hankins

Deborah Hankins has a diverse work experience spanning various government departments and organizations. Deborah started their career in 1993 as a Marketing Manager at Notting Hill Housing Trust. Deborah then worked at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) from 1998 to 2002 as the Policy Communications Team Lead. Deborah joined the University of Brighton in 2002 as the Head of Communications, Marketing, and Development. In 2004, they moved to the Department of Health and Social Care, where they served as the Head of Strategic Communications until 2007. Returning to the DWP, Deborah held various roles, including Head of Communications Group and Deputy Director - Strategy, Policy and Analysis Group, from 2007 to 2016.
