Mo Hasan is an experienced policy advisor and team leader currently serving in the Environment, Trade Negotiation and Strategy team at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since January 2023. Prior roles include advisor positions at the Cabinet Office and 10 Downing Street, as well as a policy and stakeholder engagement advisor for the Department for International Trade, focusing on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. Mo Hasan has played a key role in implementing continuity free trade agreements during the EU exit transition and has expertise in various policy areas, including victims' rights and post-conflict reconstruction. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in International Comparative and Commercial Law from SOAS University of London and an LLB Law with Politics from the University of Sussex.
