Morgan Simpson

Morgan Simpson is currently serving as the UK Deputy Head of Delegation for the Montreal Protocol at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2022, leading negotiations on global policies related to ozone-depleting substances and F-gases. In this role, Morgan acts as the UK's representative on the Executive Committee for the Multilateral Fund, supporting developing countries in phasing down HFC consumption and production. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Advisor focused on plastic waste policy and domestic food security, and a position in policy at the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Morgan also worked as a paralegal at DWF. Academic credentials include a BA in Politics/International Relations and an LLM in International Law from the University of Liverpool, as well as upcoming certificates in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online and Sustainable Cooling from the University of Oxford.
